This maintenance is being done by the Franklin County Public Utility District (PUD) in preparation to reduce device counts and to increase port density on a switch that supports inbound/outbound service policies along with providing redundant power at the edge.
New fiber uplinks will be staged prior to the maintenance to minimize downtime. The Franklin County Public Utility District will be moving 4 main uplink fibers that connect the Ruby Hut, Operations Hut, Collocation switch and the NOANet/Franklin Hut from the 3750-Stack to the 4507. A one minute outage for each connection can be expected.
The maintenance window is scheduled for 05:00am – 6:00am in case additional time is needed on December 18th.
